Last Tuesday the lives of many people were forever changed. Ashley received a call while at work that the father of her children, and the love of her life Chad was in the hospital, in ICU, after receiving 10 minutes of out of hospital CPR. The days that followed were a rollercoaster of emotions as Ashley tried to process this horrific tragedy and come to terms that Chad was likely not going to wake up. How do you tell your children that their Dad is never going to wake up? This is something no one should have to go through. Sunday the kids saw their Dad for the last time. Yesterday (Monday) Ashley finally had to say goodbye to Chad at the young age of 36. Losing someone you love is never easy, but losing the father of your young children at such a young age, right before the Holidays is horrific. My sweet friend and coworker is an amazing nurse, a wonderful mother to Chad (named after his father), Jordan, Andrew, and DJ. Please help lessen the burden of this tragedy as she now faces so many unforseen bills, missed work, and trying to provide for her children while heading into the holiday season.
