I never imagined I'd be asking for help like this.
My dad and I shared an apartment until he suddenly became ill and passed away. After losing him, I couldn't afford our apartment alone and had to move out to avoid eviction. Right now, I'm living in my car.
But I found a job. 🙏
I'm asking for help with enough gas to get me through the two weeks until my first paycheck. My commute is about 20 miles round trip, and keeping this job is my chance to finally start putting my life back together.
