Piglet came into our lives unexpectedly, but it didn’t take long for him to find his place in our hearts.
He showed up in our yard underweight, wobbly, and clearly struggling — but still incredibly sweet, trusting, and full of love. Despite everything he’s been through, Piglet never lost his spirit. He still gets excited, still wants to play, and still looks at us like he knows he’s finally safe.
Not long after he found us, Piglet stopped walking completely. We carried him everywhere for weeks. Then, almost like a miracle, he started walking again — wobbly, unbalanced, and with the cutest little “floppy” walk you’ve ever seen. We were hopeful.
But recently, he lost that ability again.
Now, Piglet can barely stand or walk on his own. His front paws sometimes flip upside down without him realizing it, and his back legs weaken and cross. Even with all that, he still tries. He will still get up to go potty. He still wants to play with our other dogs. He still fights every day to be part of life.
Piglet isn’t giving up — and neither are we.
We believe he deserves a real chance, but we need help to give it to him.
💛 What Piglet Needs
We are trying to raise funds to give Piglet the best possible quality of life:
🐾 A mobility wheelchair so he can move around independently again (~$530)
🐾 Knuckling braces to help support his paws and improve his walking
🐾 A veterinary evaluation and diagnosis so we can understand his condition and create a proper treatment plan
Our goal is $1,000 to cover these essentials and give Piglet a real chance at walking again.
🐶 Why This Matters
Piglet is still just a baby. He’s been through more than most dogs ever should — possibly abuse, injuries, and now ongoing mobility challenges.
And yet…
he is still loving, still trusting, and still trying.
He doesn’t know he’s “different.”
He just knows he wants to live, play, and be loved.
