I’m reaching out because I’ve been going through a difficult time over the past few months. On December 30, 2025, I suffered a serious hand injury. At first, I was treated and had stitches placed, and I was hoping things would heal from there.
However, after the stitches were removed, I realized my thumb had lost movement. That’s when I found out there was deeper damage, and I ended up needing tendon surgery to repair and reconnect the tendons in my Thumb. This meant starting the healing process all over again and being out of work even longer than expected.
As someone who works in a hands-on job, this has completely impacted my ability to earn income. Since then, I’ve been doing my best to manage, but it’s now April and I’m really struggling to keep up with basic expenses like rent and groceries.
I’m working toward getting back on my feet and returning to work as soon as I’m able. I’m not looking for anything beyond a little support to help me get through this gap..just enough to cover essentials until I can support myself again.
