The staff, children, and their families would benefit greatly from this provision. When I was there, animals roamed from nearby villages onto the property and was eating some of the fruits and vegetables planted.
I also noticed that the 3-acre property didn't have clear boundary lines. This would aid the staff in providing direction on where to plant or build on the property as they anticipate more children being cared for in the next few years.
Providing a fence will ensure the safety of the children, and the protection of the vegetation for years to come. The cost is approximately $17,000 USD, a fraction of the cost here in the United States.
