Help Us Find a Way Out and Start Over
I never imagined I would be writing something like this, but sometimes you reach a point where you have to put your pride aside and ask for help.
I recently became a single mom of three, and I am doing everything I can to get my children and myself out of a domestic violence situation and into a safe, stable environment.
For a long time, I became isolated from the people around me. I don’t have family nearby to fall back on, and over time, I have been left with very little support close to home. Right now, it feels like I’m trying to figure out how to rebuild our entire lives while also trying to protect my children and give them somewhere safe to call home.
My goal is to raise enough money to purchase a small camper, RV, or another safe temporary living option for us. It doesn’t have to be fancy. It doesn’t have to be perfect. I just need a way to get us somewhere safe and give us a chance to breathe, regroup, and start rebuilding our lives.
Having something of our own would give us the ability to leave, create some distance from the situation we’re in, and buy us the time we need to find permanent housing and stability.
I am working, trying to figure out our next steps, and doing everything I can to make a better life for my children. Asking for help is incredibly difficult for me, but I have reached a point where I know I can’t do this completely alone.

We don’t need anyone to fix our lives for us. We just need a little help getting through the door to a safer one.
