Facing a cancer diagnosis is a daunting journey, but there is power in community, faith, and hope.
On April 21st, my aunt Lora received the news of having endometrial cancer. Thankfully, it was caught early at Grade 1, which brings a brighter chance for a successful treatment. She is currently scheduled for surgery on May 13th where she’ll have a total hysterectomy - at this time the surgeons will also collect biopsies of lymph nodes to make sure it has not spread any further.
Lora has already had a rocky start, as she is now facing other health challenges on top of this recent cancer diagnosis. This can all be very straining emotionally and physically as well as financially because she will be taking several weeks off for the surgery & recovery.
Your compassionate support can make a world of difference for her. We're raising funds to help ease the financial burdens of everyday expenses, medical bills and so much more so she can focus on the most important thing - which is kicking this cancers butt and getting better.
Every donation, no matter the size, is a beacon of hope. Please, open your heart and give what you can. Together, we can help bring light back into her life and reassure her that shes got this!!
Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers as well as her three children who are currently away serving as Marines. Going through all of this while being thousand of miles away from each other is truly heart breaking.
Thank you for your kindness, generosity and prayers!
