Hi everyone - this is hard for us to post, but we are in desperate need of funds to help our George.
George needs to have a number of teeth removed and we have not been able to get the procedures done as finances have been awful for the past several months. Actually the whole year has been awful, basically living paycheck to paycheck, and even then we are still a month behind because we can't cover everything. Between just the mortgage, utilities and food, we have nothing left over.
I can't tell you how difficult this has been. After losing our Teddy to cancer (those of you who know us will remember our little golden nugget), and those ten months of treatments have really set us back. We cleaned out our savings and what we had in a 401K. We have not been able to replenish either because of our current situation.
I have a full time job, but the pay is very low. The adjunct teaching jobs have dried up. Freelance design jobs are also hard to come by. My husband works mainly on commissions and those are not happening either as other people find them selves tightening their budgets.
George has not been feeling well and he needs to have the dental surgery. We were quoted $2500 - $3000 back in October, and it may even be more now because of how everything is costing more.
If you are able to help us as so many of you did even with a portion of Teddy's bills, we would be eternally grateful. We don't want our boy to go another day of being in pain and we know this needs to be done as soon as possible.
