Update 11/17

Wow. We are all blown away by the generosity of our family and friends, and even strangers, near and far. Your generosity and support has made it possible for Steph to focus on spending quality time with Ryder and Jayde as they try to make sense of last weekend’s events. Instead of going back to work right away or worrying about how to pay the mortgage and bills, Steph and the kids are able to spend time together, which is invaluable during this time. 
A lot of you have reached out to me to ask how Stephanie, Ryder, and Jayde are doing. Everyone is sad and trying to make sense of what happened, but between the tears, the kids are still their silly and happy selves. Stephanie is working through a massive to-do list while still being the amazing mom we know she is; I’m so proud of her and the grace and resilience she has demonstrated over the last week. She’s the best human I know, and I’m sure everyone reading this agrees. 
Again, thank you, thank you, thank you for giving to this fundraiser. Please continue sharing this page so that we can continue helping Stephanie and the kids during this time. Thank you for reaching out to Steph with texts and messages. She is so busy she has little time to reply, but I know hearing that friends and family are thinking of her and praying for her are so appreciated and help her to keep going. Thank you for those of you who have signed up and delivered meals and groceries. Having one less thing to think about, even things as simple as “What’s for dinner?” is such a relief when your world is chaos. Thank you to those of you who have reached out asking about mailing gifts to Steph and the kids. And thank you to those who are continuously praying for Steph and the kids. These prayers are tangible and are lifting up the spirit of our favorite girl. 
“Thank you” is simply not enough. I am blown away and so grateful by everyone’s willingness to give. Please keep sharing so we can continue to ease Steph’s burden and please keep praying so we can continue to lift her heart.
