I am a mother to a 5-month-old baby, and we are urgently leaving a domestic violence situation. For safety reasons, I need to remain anonymous, but I am doing everything I can to protect my child and give them a safe, stable life.
We are starting over with almost nothing. I am working to relocate us to a safe place, but I need help covering the immediate costs of leaving safely.
Funds will go toward:
- A plane ticket for us to reach safety ($350)
- Shipping essential items like clothing and baby supplies ($200)
- Replacing necessary baby items (crib, safe sleep space, basic care items) ($300)
- Basic necessities as we rebuild from scratch ($300)
These are our most immediate expenses, but we are setting a goal of $2,000 to help cover additional unexpected costs, safe housing needs, and basic living expenses as we rebuild.
My baby depends on me for everything, and right now my only focus is getting us somewhere safe where we can finally have peace. Any support helps us move from a dangerous situation into a safe and stable environment.
