Hello everyone! We are the Purple Tails from Mankato, Minnesota. Our team will be competing in the Air Race Classic this upcoming June. Our team consists of four Mankato flight students (Olivia Hudoba, Laura Beinecke, Jess Stelton, and Arianna Moore) that will compete in the collegiate category of the Air Race Classic. The Air Race Classic is a women’s only cross-country race. The flight is around 2,400 statute miles and must be completed within three days. Each team must work together to factor in weather, wind, terrain and airplane performance throughout the route to get the best time compared to other competitors. The Purple Tails are greatly excited for this opportunity and appreciate all donations and support.
