Dear brothers and sisters, as you know, about 350,000 soldiers were drafted and recruited to the IDF. Due to this, there is now a shortage of ceramic vests and other military equipment such as helmets, mattresses to sleep on etc. Army commanders are saying there is enough for those who need but the soldiers are saying otherwise. The army can’t handle the shortage on its own and the soldiers need our help. A soldier messaged me along with others saying that they needed 5 ceramic vests ASAP as well as tactical helmets. 25 Helmets cost about 46,000 shekels. 5 Full ceramic bulletproof vests cost as much as $1500 each, military approved in Israel right now. The prices are high due to the situation. The faster we can get the funds the faster we can help our soldiers in need of this gear.
We don’t know how long they have until they enter the combat zone. There isn’t much time and we need your help now.
SOLUTION: We have a connection with a manufacturer in Israel with 3+ Ceramic bulletproof vests that have some available but they are costly.
I am working closely with (Rabbi Gershom Ohana from Kfar Chabad) the founder of an organization in Israel called Ezer Lachayal that has been helping the IDF soldiers in Israel for the past 30 years. Also working with some American friends and some amazing people who are willing to lend a hand to help transport the vests up north. (Near Tzfat, Safed, and the border of Lebanon.)
I have included the SpotFund transaction fee in the fundraiser goal which amounts to $220. Everything else is going directly to our soldiers and their gear. Hopefully, we can get the vests for less than $1500 each. If there is anything left over we will use it to help in other ways such as food and armor, more specifically, helmets, beds and other equipment.
