St. Bruno Goals To Transform A Community In Uganda

St. Bruno Children’s Community Foundation has a vision to bring a dignified and hopeful impact in the lives of children and families in the village of Nyakasa, Mbarara, Uganda.

Over the past five years, Collins has made a huge positive impact on the children and families by sponsoring their education and funding programs that aim at improving their well-being. These include: food relief, rainwater catchment, youths skills training and community gardening.

This organization is now entering the next phase of growth and expansion, and is raising funds to buy an acre of land where they project to build a modern Orphanage school that will equip students with high-quality academic skills as well as crucial life skills such as; Tailoring/Sewing, Simple Mechanics, Hair dressing, Metal fabrication and Building and Construction. They believe that supporting the children to attain both academic skills and technical abilities is one of the surest strategies to break the cycle of inter-generational poverty in their community. At the moment, St. Bruno Children’s Community Foundation desires to build a campus with the aim of equipping 3-12-year olds with a great educational foundation.

This organization’s goal is to reach 100 percent of its community and are in need of financial partners that will practically support them to buy land and bring this overwhelming dream to life.
