8 yr old Shiloh developed pyometra yesterday which is life threatening without emergency surgery. We took her to the ER but couldn't afford the surgery so we spent the last of our financial resources on enough antibiotics to keep her out of sepsis until Monday Sept 28 when we were able to schedule the emergency surgery at a low cost clinic for $600... Like i said the. ER drained us so we still can't afford even the low cost surgery.
I'm trying to raise enough money to preferably have her surgery Monday before the antibiotics run out. If that's not possible I need to have her euthanized to keep her from suffering--but I'm also short on funds for that.
Any small amount of money would help whichever way we have to proceed. I only have 2 days to raise the money as this was unexpected.
Always have your female dogs spayed when they're young to avoid horrific situations like this. It's truly heartbreaking.
