Hello Everyone,
11/10/25 Update: We had high hopes for a potential job for my sister in law, unfortunately it fell through. The family is now vacating the apartment and being relocated from Texas to Maine in hopes of better job opportunities. The bills are still due and so will back rent. Any financial assistance is still needed to help relocate and find a new home. Thank you.
**Update** We have managed to secure some financial assistance towards rent. Right now we still need $650 for the month of October. This is just rent and does not include utilities, but it is the most pressing matter right now. Thank you!
Well I never thought we would get to this point, but I think we have finally arrived.
My name is Tabitha and I am setting this fund up for my brother Frank. The last few years have been rough, but we have been muddling through them.
Frank is a dedicated family man and loving father. He and his wife have 4 children. He is the sole provider for his family and does what he can to keep his family stable.
In December 2023, my brother Frank was injured at work and was receiving workers' compensation. It was reduced pay, but it was just enough to scrape by with assistance from other family members. He finally had surgery in April 2025 to repair the injury, and things were starting to look up, until his wife was admitted to the hospital with an emergency of her own. She also received surgery, but her full recovery is still months away.
Frank was released from work restrictions and workers' comp in August 2025, only to start blacking out while working. As a delivery driver in the automotive industry, this is very serious and has prevented him from continuing work. He has used up all his resources, vacation time, and sick pay to seek medical attention. He will be receiving a pacemaker that will limit his ability to work at his current job for the next 2-3 months.
His job is secure, and he will be able to return to work; however, in the meantime, he will not be receiving any pay. The goal of $6,500 is the estimated housing and utility expenses for the next three months. This also includes the due rent as of October 1st.
We have sought out financial assistance from local state facilities, but there is a 6 to 9-month waiting list to receive aid.
Any assistance received will be used to keep the lights on and a roof over the children's heads. Thank you to everyone who reads this story and to those who can share and/or help financially.
