I've been fighting an uphill battle of harassment against my former employer and romantic [female] partner. The harassment got to the point that I filed for a restraining order in October of 2023 (after trying to completely cut ties in September 2022 following sexual assault, stalking, and verbal & psychological abuse). 

The R.O. case should have been simple, however, she has chosen to fight it and now we are facing an evidentiary hearing, for which I need to retain a lawyer. I have looked into doing it without legal counsel, however, I will be placed on the stand and have everything, including the r*pe, questioned in graphic detail. Due to the nature of the evidence and the case, I have no choice but to retain a family law lawyer, which as you might imagine, is incredibly expensive.

I have been going through extensive PTSD therapy for over a year and having to rehash everything once again, infront of a courtroom,  is retraumatizing. For this reason, I need [for myself and my family] for this to be a 'one & done' situation, which is more likely to occur with a strong lawyer on my side. 

Due to having a full day of trial scheduled at the end of February and the all preparation involved, my lawyer expects that fees could be upwards of $10,000.

I am, humbly, asking for any help you may be able to provide so that we can finish this foolishness, once and for all, and I can fully heal from the trauma and move forward with my life.
