Bringing "Orphans" Home: Help Fund My New Album & Southern Summer Tour
I've been writing and performing for over 25 years now, and this next chapter feels like the most important one yet.
My sixth studio album, Orphans, is a collection of songs about what we lose, what we carry, and what we build from the pieces left behind. It's the most personal work I've ever made—rooted in my Georgia upbringing, my journey West, and the questions I keep asking myself as a father of three boys.
This summer, I'm taking these songs back to where they came from. The Southern Summer Tour will span nine states over three months—from Oregon to Tennessee—playing the kind of rooms where this music belongs: listening rooms, honky-tonks, front porches, and stages where the songs can breathe.
I'm raising $15,000 to make both happen. Here's where it goes:
- Album production: Studio time, mixing, mastering, and manufacturing
- Tour expenses: Gas, lodging, and the unglamorous logistics of putting 5,000+ miles on a van
- Getting music into hands: Pressing vinyl/CDs and promotional materials
