Hi everyone, my name is Adamaris, and today I’m doing something I never do which is asking for help and sharing my personal life online. Anyone who knows me knows that I never ask for anything, and I don’t put my personal business out there — but right now I’m facing something I cannot handle alone.
My husband, Luis, has been detained, and I’m trying to raise funds for an immigration lawyer to help bring him back home to us.
Luis is not just my husband — he is the main provider for our family and the father of our three boys, who need him more than ever. He is a hardworking, honest, dedicated man who works 7 days a week to make sure we never go without. He doesn’t do drugs, he doesn’t drink, and he has always lived a clean, family-focused life. Everything he does is for us.
Our boys are hurting without him. They ask for him every night, and it breaks my heart not being able to give them answers. Our home is not the same without him. He is the backbone and the heart of our family.
I’m doing everything I can, but the legal fees are overwhelming, and I simply can’t manage this on my own.
