My friend Dorian Hess who I have known since 7th grade, is suffering right now. She was in an abusive relationship and escaped to Georgia to get away from her ex.   She has recently been evicted from her apartment.  I have spent hours trying to get her into a homeless shelter in Georgia, but every place I called was a dead end.  Right now Georgia's homeless shelters are in a state of emergency because of the cold.  On top of all this, Dorian has been in and out of the hospitals because of a back injury she got from an accident.  For $700, she will be able to find a place to stay, and if she gets $900, she will have enough to make a deposit and have the money left over.  Any little amount you can give will be greatly appreciated!
