Hi everyone,
I’m creating this fundraiser for my cousin, Gaby, who is currently recovering from a heart transplant. This is an incredibly important and delicate time for her and our family. After going through such a major procedure, Gaby will need continued medical care, rest, and support as she begins the long road to recovery.
Right now, Gaby is recovering in the ICU, and our family is doing everything we can to be by her side. We live about 1.5 hours away, and with her recovery taking place in San Francisco, the cost of staying close to the hospital can quickly become overwhelming. We want Gaby to be able to focus on healing without having to worry about the financial stress that comes with everything she and our family are going through.
The funds raised will help our family secure a place closer to the hospital while Gaby recovers, as well as help with the unexpected expenses that come with such a major medical journey. Most importantly, this support will allow us to be there for Gaby during this critical time.
