Long story short ... I was in a car accident that was the other drivers fault almost 2 years ago. Their insurance would not pay up and mine would not either because it was clearly their fault. So for the last almost 2 years I have been without a car and struggling to get back and forth to Drs appts, pick the kids up from school when they need to be, get them to their appts. I also recently had a huge infection in my leg that made me septic and almost died in my bed. I have had so many more Drs appts since and trying to recover from that and learn how to walk all over again. Just trying to get to and from these Drs appts has been rough. Now my kids are having Drs appts left and right as well. Also just trying to get to the store for necessities is nearly impossible for me too. So if you could find it in your heart to help a single mom get back on her feet and into another car I would truly appreciate it. The prices of cars has sky rocketed just like everything else. All the money raised will go to getting another used car, registering the car, paying the insurance on the car to get it on the road and if there is anything left over will go to fixing the car if need be or gas or anything the kids may need. Just trying to get back on my feet and it has been so difficult. If I can get another car and get it on the road it would make life just a little easier and can get me back on my feet to be a more productive person for my babies.
