Hi everyone. I’m asking for lots of love and prayers and any donations that you can give to our sweet friend MAKALYN, her Husband Brooks and all 3 of their beautiful children as they work to fight off RSV.

THIS IS COPIED AND PASTED FROM MAKALYN'S POST ON FB, UPDATES WILL BE POSTED BELOW SO PLEASE KEEP READING.

Miss Zoe is currently admitted in the hospital. Being only 4 weeks old, she’s having a hard time fighting this. She is currently on high flow oxygen, hopefully to help reduce her CO2 levels and give her little body a break. She will most likely be here for a few days.

Mallory is still fighting constant fevers. She had 2 seizures on Wednesday, so she is still really weak and just not herself. We’re hoping she won’t need to go to the hospital as well for dehydration. We’re doing our best to get as much fluids in her as possible.

Jaxton is on the mend, but was in the hospital on Sunday after he had a seizure. He had very high fever, and it’s almost impossible to find Motrin on the shelves right now. His birthday was on Tuesday, so I especially hate that this has been going on during his special day. Happy 4th Birthday, Buddy.

This is a horrible illness, that’s spreading like wildfire. I hate seeing my littles suffer💔

***UPDATE 2 (12/17): Zoe has been lifeflighted to Primary Children’s. Her body was just so tired. She has a bipap mask on now. She looks comfortable and vitals are well. She has been fighting a fever off, so doctors are working to see if there is something else going on in addition to RSV. She has been started on antibiotics in case. She has a feeding tube now as well. She will be getting a spinal tap a little later just to rule out meningitis.

Mallory isn’t able to be on room air without oxygen dropping into the 80s, so she is still on oxygen.

***UPDATE 1 (12/16): Mallory has been admitted now as well. Her oxygen on room air was in the 80s. She also has an ear infection, which explains why we had been having issues keeping her fevers away. The girls are a couple doors away from each other on the same floor.
Zoe’s CO2 numbers have decreased, meaning the high flow oxygen is working for her. Let’s hope she continues in the right direction
