At just 14 years old, Malia Watanabe-Collier is a passionate leader, cultural ambassador, and advocate for empathy and understanding. As Miss Auburn’s Teen, Malia launched Stories That Heal, a powerful initiative that uses storytelling and cultural sharing to inspire compassion and break down barriers. From gathering over 7,000 socks for the homeless to performing traditional hula and oli, Malia leads with heart, purpose, and pride.
Her talents, academic achievements, and leadership as a student, athlete, and artist are only part of her story. What truly sets Malia apart is her drive to make the world a kinder place—one story at a time. By uplifting voices from her community and using social media to spread empathy nationwide, she’s already making a difference. With your vote, Malia can take her message even further as Miss Washington’s Teen.
Vote Malia for People’s Choice—because empathy begins with listening.
