Hi, My name is Kacious. I'm a single mom of 4. Two of my children have special needs and life threatening conditions that require that they have around the clock care. Making it hard for me to find work as they are in the hospital more than they are at home. As we know hospital stays are expensive and with 4 littles it's getting hard to make ends meet. I am seeking help for expenses for bills,housing, necessities, and medical supplies that are not covered by their insurance. I know this amount wont solve all the issues I'm facing but it will make things a little easier to get over this hump that I am facing as my two littlest are hospitalized now for 3 weeks(6 weeks in total as we went home for 4 days and had to come back) fighting covid and the aftermath that covid left on their condition. My littlest have a condition called "Gastroparesis " which is a partially paralyzed digestive tract and hirshsprungs which is when the nerves in your intestines doesn't work. With covid they are fighting post viral ileus. That is when your stomach shut down due to trauma from a virus. Now with them already having gastroparesis it made things worse. My son (4)is 100% tube dependent and also dependent on IV nutrition called TPN. He has a ostomy to help him go. My baby girl (7m)is no longer able to tolerate her formula orally and is tube dependent. Both are very happy children. I try to stay positive and optimistic that this thing is going to get better but I just need to get over this trial so I can focus on finding us a clean safe place to live as we are also dealing with a difficult landlord who refuses to treat mold and a infestation that is causing health issues for my littles.
