I have hesitated for months to create an account on go fund me page as I always relied on myself and made it work for the past years. However, I have been going through a quite difficult time for months since my car accident from over one year ago.
I used to be a high school teacher for both juniors and seniors in my area. Yet, due to my injury I found myself unable to keep up with teaching and I had to take a time off from work. Due to my non termination status, I did not qualify for a disability. The entire situation left me with a daughter who I have to support and a mortgage that I was behind on which forced the property to go under a foreclosure status for a while. My hardship is extending to the point where I can't even fix the car so daughter can use it to support herself a bit and help give me rides when necessary.
I have been trying to take it one day at a time so I can go back to the strong and independent person that I used to be.
For time being, and since I had to borrow $30,000 from family members to get my property out of the foreclosure status, and keep a home cozy home roof over our heads, I would greatly appreciate it if you can help with whatever your heart tells you until I become stronger, stand back on my feet, and be able to give back to the community the way I did before.
