I just saw a new dental patient, Rudy Silva, who suffers from diabetes; kidney and liver disease; and infected wisdom teeth on both sides of his lower jaw. Rudy has been experiencing pain from these abscessed teeth for many weeks, since he was injured at work two years ago and has not been able to qualify for any workmen's compensation and he cannot find a dentist on his medicaid plan that feels comfortable extracting these teeth, given his poor state of overall health. Rudy's diabetes is not well controlled. He has already lost toes from gangrene associated with his diabetes and having these infected teeth is placing him at risk for bilateral bone infections. Rudy needs these teeth to be removed yestertday. The oral surgeon will remove the teeth for $1000 which is a 33% fee reduction. Please help Rudy get the treatment he so desparately needs. With gratitude, Jeffrey Cantor, DDS
