Nearly 17 million people globally are diagnosed with cancer each year; of that, nearly 1.6 million people are diagnosed annually in the United States. Together, we can make a difference! Since 2020, I have been fundraising for Cancer Services in recognition of World Cancer Day, which is every year on 2/4. In 2020, we raised just over $1,000.00 with the generosity of friends and family! In 2021, we raised nearly $600.00! For the 2022 calendar year, our goal is to fundraise throughout the entire year and raise at least $1,000.00!
Cancer Services is a well established nonprofit agency in Midland, MI that supports cancer patients and their patients throughout Midland, Clare & Gladwin Counties. Since 1948, Cancer Services has provided personalized and compassionate support to cancer patients and caregivers through a variety of services. From emotional support and transportation services to financial assistance and countless needed supplies, Cancer Services strives to make the incredibly difficult life journey as easy and stress free as possible! Covering three counties and supporting several hundred patients and caregivers, Cancer Services makes an enormous impact on the community.
