Hi! Thank you for being here!

Meet my grandson Beckett who just turned fifteen years old this month. He is an loyal participant in many school sport teams, a loving son, and a very protective sibling of his siblings. This summer he wanted to start saving money and sought out his first job opportunity. Beckett became employed by a local contractor for $10/hr to mow lawns with a push mower and help put up sheetrock. He managed to schedule his working hours around his sports practices. Beckett was found to be a very hard worker and by his mother's account, he would often come home so exhausted from the work and heat that he would go straight to bed without his supper. However, he was so excited to watch his savings grow to the amount of $450!

Beckett went on family reunion camping trip for a few days. Unbeknownst to his parents, he thought it best that he keep his eye on his small fortune by taking his wallet on the trip. Once he arrived at the cabin, he found a safe place to stash the wallet while he was in and out of the water and busy with other activities.

Later, during the commotion as all relatives were busy packing up belongings and leaving, Beckett forgot to go back and retrieve the wallet he had hidden for safe-keeping.

Many frantic follow-up calls were made to retrieve the wallet, but it was no longer where Beckett had put it. It had been stolen! I hoped it would be possible to turn this sad story around to have a happy ending for Beckett. He has gone back to work and saving again. He has no knowledge of this fund raising and it is limited to exactly what was taken--$450. Any amount is very appreciated because as you know--it all adds up! Thank you immensely for any assistance you can be!
