Living in Fredericksburg, Texas, has always felt like being part of a close community. Now, more than ever, I feel the weight of needing our community's support. I am facing the potential deportation of my fiancé, and it's been incredibly hard on our family, especially my kids. They adore their stepdad, and the thought of him leaving us is heartbreaking. Our home feels on the brink of losing its warmth, and I am trying to keep it all together for my family.
The expenses to fight this are overwhelming. Between legal fees and everyday needs, I'm reaching out with humility. My kids ask if everything will be okay, and I assure them it will be.
