Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted supporters,
We are reaching out with heavy hearts and hopeful spirits to ask for your help and prayers for baby Ramona, a beautiful and brave 3-month-old girl who is currently in critical condition due to a complex and life-threatening liver issue.
Just days ago, Ramona’s parents, Maura and David, were living life as a new family, when things suddenly took a terrifying turn. Ramona became dangerously lethargic and struggled to breathe. After a rapid decline during a doctor’s visit, she was rushed by ambulance to St. Joseph’s Hospital, where she was intubated and stabilized. The situation was so severe that, at one point, her life hung in the balance.
She has since been transferred via airlift to All Children’s Hospital in St. Petersburg, where an incredible team of specialists is doing everything they can to help her. Interventional radiology has stepped in with advanced procedures to untangle and treat the blood vessels, bringing some hopeful signs of improvement.
However, the road ahead is long. Ramona has experienced blood clots, requires constant monitoring, and remains in a fragile state. Her condition is still very serious, and every day in the ICU brings new challenges.
Maura and David are staying close by at the Ronald McDonald House so they can remain near Ramona, but the emotional and financial toll is immense. Medical expenses, time away from work, travel, and temporary housing have created a growing burden that no family should have to face alone—especially in such a heart-wrenching time.
We are rallying around this incredible family to provide love, support, and relief where we can. Every dollar donated goes directly to helping them cover medical costs, travel, housing, and anything else they need to stay by Ramona’s side and give her the best possible chance at healing.
If you’re unable to give financially, please consider sharing this campaign, offering prayers, and sending positive energy to Ramona and her parents. Your kindness is felt deeply and makes a real difference.
Let’s lift this family up together. Ramona is a fighter, and with our help, she won’t be fighting alone. 💕
With love and gratitude,
Ramona’s Support Team
