Sparky is a 14 year young sophisticated older gentleman that has fallen on "ruff" times. Sadly his owner is no longer to care for him due to serious medical issues, that impact her ability to care for him. Learning about Sparky's situation, my biggest fear was, him being placed in a shelter. He is a super loving and spunky little jelly bean and I want him to always be this way. Luckily for Sparky our lovely friend, Wendy Kovach of The Pink Poodle Doggie Daycare decided to foster him and her handsome pitbull Peter Thomas and his pack immediately took him under their wing. He is being loved and safe for now however the search for Sparky's forever retirement home is in the works. The good news is he was recently seen at my vet and he appears to have alot of life left in him. Sparky was however diagnosed with hypothyroidism and will require thyroid medication and a special kidney diet for his lifetime. He will also require routine bloodwork while on this medication. This little fella's teeth are also in need of a good cleaning which can be taken care of once his thyroid levels are regulated. Please join me by supporting my adorable little friend and helping to create a fund towards his upcoming medical and diet needs. By creating this fund, we hope it will increase his chances of adoption. When Sparky finally finds his new human we want them to focus all their attention on just loving him rather than worrying about his medical requirements. Any money raised will go directly to Central Animal Hospital in Leominster and be utilized for his labwork, medication, prescription food and teeth cleaning. Thank you for considering a donation and please SHARE our little friend, Spunky Sparky's story!!!
