When we adopted Moose a few months ago, we were told he had an eye ulcer that was healable and that was why his adoption fee was reduced. We knew he wasn’t perfect, but we fell in love with him instantly and promised to give him the life he deserves.
Since bringing him home, we’ve learned his eye condition is much more serious than we ever imagined. After countless vet visits, medications, and specialist appointments, we’ve been told that the best option for Moose is to have his eye removed. While it’s heartbreaking, this surgery will finally relieve his pain and allow him to live a happy, comfortable puppy life.
The surgery is estimated to cost $3,900 not including any medication, bandages, check-ups he may need… and while we’ll do everything we can to make it happen, it’s more than we can manage on our own.
