It is with great sadness that we announce that beautiful Arun Reah passed away after a couple of days falling weak and ill on Thursday, September 16th 2021. She was surrounded by love and her best friend Sarai Mia who likely knew she was passing before we did. You will always be with us, beautiful soul.

Arun Reah was rescued from Ratanakiri Province, Cambodia, her former owner decided to allow Save Elephant Foundation to rescue her as he no longer had sufficient land to care for her due to agricultural encroachment.
She arrived at CWS with injuries to her back from the saddle, on her back right leg from the chain, and her right eye had been damaged from some kind of trauma.
Arun Reah arrived at CWS in March 2013 and since that time has enjoyed a life of freedom with her best friend Sarai-Mia.
