THE DAY BEFORE SURGERY
Miss Sage Amina has worked so hard over the past 13 months to get to this point! She has faced blatant discrimination from birth that led our little family to travel across the country to Cincinnati Children's in order to access the level of care every child deserves, leaving two older brothers behind near Seattle, WA.

Her long awaited heart repair took place June 3rd. She experienced a very serious and unexpected complication that landed her on maximum life support with many unanswered questions and only a couple of options going forward.
