Our Children lost everything in a apartment fire 🔥😔
Katelynn & Kevin are by far the best kids I've ever seen and have worked so genuinely hard for everything they had.So, this story really is devastating...
Kate and Kevin moved out on thier own for their freshman year of College. Excited and frightened, they moved away from home into the Village Green Apartments in Troy, N.Y. They are not your average 19yr olds either!! They kept to themselves and planned out crock pot meals and really encouraged each other to do thier best to be successful.
On, Friday night, Kate spent the night home so she can be closer to her 2nd Job and to borrow my car because hers had broke down 2 hours away on there way home from vacation 2 weeks ago. They both had it planned out to go get all of thier belongings out of thier apt as their lease was ending, after Kate got out of work. Mind you, everything was packed in boxes already...
Around 11pm, Kate recieved a call and was sent a video of her and Kevin's apartment in flames. She immediately contacts Kevin and they both just Sobbed. Both kids only came home for the summer to work. They litteraly both packed a laundry basket and left. They Lost Everything!
Saturday, both kids went down to see if they were able to retrieve anything. Unfourtantly, thier apartment was one of the worst ones damaged and red cross told them there was nothing left.
Any donations is greatly appreciated as now they have to start all over! They will both split donations.
We are incredibly grateful our children were home and safe and the lord was looking over them. 🙏💙💜
