Hello, i'm making this for my neighbor (Robert, but goes by Danny) who was in a horrible accident last weekend. Last week my car broke down, and he's always been the first one to come help when I have car troubles. I called him at about 8-9pm, and we were on the phone for probably two minutes, because as soon as he heard I needed help, he was on the way. This wasn't the first time he was going to do this for me. While waiting in the car, I received a text from my mom saying she heard his truck start, and about 20 minutes passed by after that text. I received another text from my mom telling me she heard sirens, and then I started to worry because it's only about a 10 minute drive. My mom called 911, and then we found out Danny had been involved in an accident, and he was being careflited to Tyler. My heart was absolutely broken, because he's nothing but a kindhearted man who was at the wrong place at the wrong time. Someone was speeding, and had no time to stop for another car pulling out, swerved into Danny's truck, flipping him 6-9 times until it stopped. Danny is a father of two kids, and typically spends his days outside with his kids, playing basketball, football, ect. He's also happily married, and just genuinely a hard working man. Danny is now suffering from a broken arm, a cracked vertebrae in his neck, multiple broken ribs, an injury on his head that is now stitched closed, and a completely totaled vehicle. He is someone who does not deserve to be in a situation like this, so I ask that if you can help, please do. Every dollar counts. From medical expenses, to attempting to get a new vehicle, and raising two young children, it's going to be hard on him.
