I am doing the crowd funding for a good friend of mine. Like a good number of women, who pour themselves into a man only to be depleted and run dry. My friend and her husband have been married for 13 years and together for about 18 years. All marriages have their ups and downs. You'll have good times, bad times and for some of us...abusive times.
Imagine after an argument, your husband moves out of your martial bedroom and into a downstairs bedroom...that was 13 months ago. He's still there and comes in at 2a with not a word to her. Imagine sitting in the middle of the hallway floor screaming at the top of your lungs for GOD to please take the pain away. Pain from being heartbroken and pain from intense migraines that you get from stress and anxiety. Imagine posting on a Facebook group called "Are we dating the same guy" and frantically reading messages from 9 other woman, giving graphic details about how your "loving husband" performs oral sexx and others talking about "meet ups" they had with him dating as far back as 2015.
The last straw was when she found out that her husband had an ongoing relationship with another woman and they were talking about moving in together. He missed a family holiday to fly to Tennessee with this woman to meet her father and "shake his hand." My friend has been mentally, emotionally and verbally abused. She slanders her name by telling people that she is lazy and won't get a job. When in fact she has an MLM business that pays her car note and all the household utilities. In addition to homeschooling their youngest child.
Her husband bullies her by taking the tags off of her car and telling her that it's his car and she needs to "figure out her own sh!t." He has dropped her from his medical insurance telling her that she's "not his responsibility." He has given her an ultimatum, that he will agree to sell the house and he will give her some of the proceeds if she does as she's told and that he will only take care of their kids "IF" they are with him.
I'm seeking to help her raise the money for a lawyer so she can have peace and get her away from this abusive behavior. She has been quoted $5000 with a 10% down retainer fee.
