As you see, I have a (almost) 5-year-old and one on the way. I have set up this account because I have recently become a single mom and I am looking for help to pay for medical bills and home birth. To start, one of my medical bills is due to my blood type being RH-. Due to this, I am required to have 3 shots during the duration of my pregnancy, costing about $200 a shot. The next expense I am looking to raise money for is to give birth at home as opposed to in a hospital. Home births are more expensive than hospital births but much more natural, holistic, and personable. I do not want my unfortunate circumstance of the separation between me and the father of my children to hold me back from my desire of giving birth how I want to. I have always dreamt of doing a home birth for the hospital was not a comfortable environment the first time around and it would be amazing to bring in life within the comfort of my own home. For home births, a midwife and doula are required, totaling to little over $6,000.
I understand that home birth is a wish and desire and not a medical need. However, I do not want to give up on my home-birth dream.
