Recently returned from a 3 week trip to Ukraine. Had a soul filliling time seeing family, friends, and volunteering. February 24th, 2024 will mark 2 years of war. Although many of us have adapted to the circumstances, it is a hard fact that the war continues. Our support should continue as well, there are still many Ukrainians that are without homes, food, and jobs. I can not thank you all enough in the US for the continued support with donations. Over 20k has been raised/donated since the begining of the war to struggling families and military, hundreds of pounds of winter clothes have been sent, and lots of hygine supplies have been donated. I am so proud to be a part of the Volunteer.In.UA - a volunteering group that helps those who are truly in need with clothes, house appliances, medicine, miliary aid, generators, waters, bed mattresses, food, and everything else that is essential! I was in tears when they awarded me with a thank you certificte for helping the town that I grew up in, Mykolaiv. Mykolaiv is standing strong, towns and villages around Mykolaiv continue to get bombed daily, Volunteering.In.UA distributes aids to the surrounding towns as well. With your help, I was also awarded with a signed flag by one of the air defence brigades (see pictures attached). Lets continue to help and support Ukraine because if the war is not stopped on our land, it will spread to the surrounding countries, we must stay united and support one another.
