✨ Post-Surgery Update:
We are sad to share that Luna’s tissue sample came back — cancerous cells and signs of the autoimmune condition that was initially a concern. Her surgeon confirmed that the next step is to start treatment asap! We will be raising money to help pay for the cost of treatment.
Luna also had her post-surgery follow-up, and it couldn’t have gone better. Her incisions are healing beautifully — almost fully closed — and she was officially cleared for light activity again! She’s feeling more like herself every day, and it’s such a comfort to see her happy, comfortable, and wagging her little nub again.
Thank you all so much for your continued love and support throughout this journey.
— With love,
Luna and family

LUNA IS HOME!!!
After a long 24 hours at the emergency vet, Luna is finally back home where she belongs — and she’s doing so well!
She truly won over everyone at the clinic with her sweet personality. The staff shared pictures and videos with us, and they were all smitten with her. She handled the stay like a champ, and we’re so proud of her.
The best news: she’s no longer vomiting, she’s eating and drinking on her own, and she’s resting comfortably. The extra time under observation gave her the boost she needed, and now she’s settling back in at home to recover in a space filled with love (and treats, of course).
Thank you so much to everyone who has donated, shared, and sent kind messages — your support has meant everything during such an emotional time. Luna’s healing journey isn’t over yet, but we are overjoyed to have her back home and on the mend.
We’ll continue to keep you posted — but for now, we’re soaking up all the snuggles and giving her so much love.

Pre-Surgery Update: Feeling Hopeful and Grateful
We had Luna’s pre-surgery appointment and I wanted to share the latest with all of you who have been supporting us—whether through donations, kind words, or simply sharing her story.
The vet team was very confident and optimistic that everything will go smoothly. The best news: Luna won’t need to stay overnight! She’ll be able to come home the same day and recover with the comfort of familiar faces and her favorite blanket.
They will be sending her salivary gland tissue out for a biopsy, just to confirm there is absolutely nothing more serious going on. While the fluid inside looked non-cancerous, they explained that sometimes the tissue can tell a different story. There’s also a small chance it could be autoimmune-related, and they want to catch anything early, just in case. That said, the vet is very hopeful that neither of those are the case, and we’re holding on to that hope too.
He shared that, given Luna’s young age and otherwise great health, she’s expected to recover really well. She’ll be down and resting for a couple of weeks, and then we’ll go back for her follow-up to remove stitches or staples and—hopefully—get the all-clear to resume walks, play, tricks and all the things she loves.
We’re just so grateful to each and every one of you. Your support has helped us get this far, and it’s what’s making this surgery possible. If you haven’t already, please consider sharing Luna’s page. Every share truly makes a difference.
We’ll keep everyone posted! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts, everyone’s generosity has completely blown us away.

We’re truly speechless.
In just a short amount of time, we’ve already reached one-third of our goal, and I cannot thank you enough. Every donation, every share, every message of encouragement has meant the absolute world to us. I’ve cried more tears of gratitude than I can count.
Knowing that so many people care about Luna and want to help save her has filled my heart in ways I can’t even explain. You are giving us hope during one of the scariest times of our lives.
If you haven’t already, please consider sharing thisto help us keep the momentum going. And if anyone knows of any Facebook groups or pages that allow posts like this for animal lovers or vet fundraisers, I’d be so grateful for suggestions.
From the bottom of my heart—thank you. You’re helping us fight for Luna’s life.
