Subject: Help Me Rebuild My Life and Work Again
Dear friends,
I’m writing to share a personal story and ask for your support as I work to rebuild my life.
About a year ago, I was struck by a work van. The accident left me with severe injuries and I spent a month in a coma. My legs were badly fractured, and I’ve now been living in a rehabilitation center for the past 10 months. I’m still relearning how to walk and may never fully regain that ability.
While my mobility is limited, I am determined to regain my independence through remote work. The rehabilitation center has approved me to work remotely, and I’m ready to begin. Unfortunately, I lost my apartment during this time and my finances have been depleted covering the gaps that insurance didn’t meet.
The biggest barrier right now is having the right tools to get back to work. I do not have a laptop or a private internet connection. To move forward, I am hoping to raise $2,000 to purchase a reliable laptop and cover the costs of a dedicated internet connection. These essentials would give me the opportunity to find remote work, earn an income again, and begin to rebuild my life.
This has been an incredibly difficult journey, but I remain hopeful that with the right support I can create a more stable future. Any contribution, no matter the size, would mean the world to me and bring me one step closer to independence.
