Life changed for me the day I experienced a traumatic brain injury. What many people don’t realize is that the effects of a TBI can extend far beyond the brain. In my case, it led to a heart condition that I now live with every single day.
Facing both the physical and emotional challenges of recovery has taught me resilience, but it has also shown me the importance of community and advocacy. That’s why giving back to the American Heart Association’s Go Red for Women campaign means so much to me.
Go Red for Women is more than a campaign—it’s a movement that empowers women to take charge of their heart health, raises awareness about the unique risks women face, and provides resources for those of us living with heart conditions. Supporting this cause is deeply personal: it’s about ensuring that other women don’t feel alone in their journey, and that they have the tools and hope they need to thrive.
By contributing to this campaign, you’re not just helping me share my story—you’re helping countless women who are fighting for their health and their futures. Together, we can shine a light on the connection between brain and heart health, and build a stronger, healthier community for women everywhere.
✨ Please join me in supporting Go Red for Women. Every donation makes a difference, and every voice raised brings us closer to a world where women’s heart health is prioritized and protected
