On March 1, 2026, beautiful Jailee Elizabeth entered this world and instantly filled our lives with love.
On Wednesday, April 15, Kenzie noticed that Jailee wasn’t feeling well. Trusting her instincts, she and Kordell took her to the doctor. Shortly after, they received a call no parent ever wants—telling them to take their baby to the emergency room immediately.
They rushed to Texas Children’s Medical Center, where doctors quickly began running tests. That same day, Jailee was admitted into the NICU.
Since then, Kenzie and Kordell have been living every parent’s worst nightmare. Their sweet baby girl is undergoing test after test as doctors work tirelessly to find answers. They have not left her side for a moment—and while that’s exactly where they want to be, it’s come with a heavy financial burden.
As many know, maternity and paternity leave in the United States is extremely limited—especially for teachers. Without enough saved days, time off quickly becomes unpaid. On top of that, they do not yet qualify for long-term disability. Between mounting medical expenses, daily hospital costs, and regular bills still due at home, the stress is overwhelming.
If you know Kenzie, you know she carries the weight of everything—and right now, she shouldn’t have to.
We are starting this GoFundMe to help support Kenzie, Kordell, Jesse, and baby Jailee during this incredibly difficult time. Any contribution, big or small, will help ease the burden so they can focus on what matters most—being there for their baby girl.

We love this family deeply and want to surround them with as much love, support, and strength as possible.
