Hi friends,

 

My sweet baby boy, Koda needs emergency brachycephalic syndrome (BOAS) surgery. Koda is not able to come home because he’s oxygen dependent. The procedure is expected to cost $8,000

 

This past year has been incredibly difficult and I’m hoping this is the last major hurdle we’ll have to face.

Koda is a pocket Bully , he has many more years to enjoy as he’s only just turned 5 years old….the vets says he’s in good health other then the surgery he requires.

 

He’s full of life , loving , a big baby… always wanting to cuddle at night, such a silly boy that gives us laughter on a daily…he’s always looking for opportunities to steal your seat if you move, he loves to be pushed into the laundry basket, go for walks , he sleeps upside down , and loves to sit straight up like a human. He’s a bit of a fatty at heart …. he “speaks” often to get your attention and definitely for his treats! 
 
Koda loves to test my patience …just like a naughty / sneaky toddler….as you can see, he’s not just a pet to us, he’s part of our family and brings me comfort when I’m having a rough day; he brings healing to my soul and happiness to the family. 

 

With everything happening in the world, I would never normally ask for donations for myself. With the emergency hospital costs we have paid and will pay; this has made it difficult to come up with the upfront cost of his surgery.

 

Koda is pure-hearted, loving, and truly one of the most important part of our lives. I understand that not everyone are pet/dog people, but I hope you would consider donating to give my boy the gift of breathing on his own ….if this fundraiser made its way through your feed, our family would truly appreciate your consideration.
