My son-in-law, Owen, was just hired for his first professional job in IT outside of the college from which he graduated, the Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design. It has been their dream for years to land a job in California for immediate work and to be in a better position to pursue work at the art studios in the area (Pixar, Disney, etc.) He and my daughter, Katherine, married now for 5 years, are asking friends and family for a little help for the move to California. The money raised will cover the move and costs associated with relocation. The $5,000 goal they have set is in addition to what my wife and I are contributing as well as the funds they had set aside for this purpose. His new job start date is December 18th.
