In June, our dear friends, Pat and Scott Lairson contracted Covid while vacationing in Cabo, Mexico. Pat needed emergency care very soon into her illness and was admitted to a hospital in Cabo. Unfortunately this was a horrible experience for Scott due to abuse that he experienced while dealing with administrators in that hospital. One portion of his story is staff actually refusing Pat any kind of treatment unless he gave them $10,000 on advance. Of course out of fear of losing our precious Pat, Scott agreed to their demand. Unfortunately horrific abuses continued with them demanding tens of thousands more from him. Thank goodness Scott was finally able to arrange an air flight to bring Pat home to Phoenix, Arizona.
This horrible experience should never have taken place especially in light of the fact that Pat was so ill and with them being out of the country. It is still so hard to believe thatt after a few days in the Phoenix hospital, Pat lost her fight and passed away.
It has been on my heart for sometime now to put a fundraiser together to help Scott with the $25,000 medical air flight from Cabo to Arizona. Any help you can provide would be such a huge blessing to him as he is starting a new journey without Pat, the love of his life. Please share this post with everyone that knew Pat. She was such a gift to so many. Let’s pull together and help Scott recover at least financially.
