My name is Will Douglass, and I am a sophomore at Clarkson University as well as a cadet in the Golden Knight Battalion (GKB). This year, I serve as the captain for the GKB’s 2026 Bataan Memorial Death March team. We are hoping to gain your support, so that we may send a five-person team from the GKB to participate. This team will consist of myself, Olivia Jackson, Wallace Loonan, George Palmer, Gavin Lajoie, and Brady Moy. This annual event honors the courage and sacrifice of the American and Filipino soldiers forced to march over 60 miles as prisoners of war during World War II. This challenge takes place at White Sands Missile Range, New Mexico, testing physical endurance and keeping an important part of history alive.
To make our team possible, we’re seeking donations of any amount to help cover travel, registration, meals, and other essential expenses for our team. Your support will help these cadets represent Clarkson with pride and pay tribute to those who endured incredible hardship. Thank you for considering a contribution and helping us honor the legacy of service and sacrifice.
