Rynlee was diagnosed at birth with lipomyelomeningocele spina bifida, which went undetected on all prenatal sonogram images. Along with spina bifida, she was also diagnosed with hip dysplasia, resulting in limited movement in her left leg and foot.
Rynlee has undergone two surgeries to address the mass on her back and will be required to wear braces to treat her hip dysplasia. Despite all of this, Rynlee is one of the happiest babies we have ever seen—always smiling more than she cries. We are deeply grateful that God has given us joy and encouragement through Rynlee’s beautiful smile.
While we are extremely grateful for the amount of coverage the insurance has been able to absorb, there remains a total balance of $5,500 where help is needed. This includes $2,300 from her initial surgery performed on 12/8, approximately $700–$1,000 for an AFO boot for her left foot, and a $2,000 remaining balance from the surgery performed on 1/28.
Rynlee’s parents, Taylore and Boston, are first-time parents and are both hardworking. They have done a remarkable job navigating these challenges physically, emotionally, and financially. Our prayer is that we can help alleviate the financial stress so they may focus solely on Rynlee’s physical and emotional needs. Any help would be deeply appreciated.
