I find myself at one of the toughest moments in my life, reaching out for help when it's needed the most. After being ill, I had no choice but to take a leave from work, and without any paid time off or qualifying for FMLA, my financial situation quickly became dire. Now, I'm in San Francisco, trying to rebuild after relocating for safe housing due to domestic violence. The idea of losing my home terrifies me, as finding another is beyond my reach right now.
I've tried every resource available, navigating paperwork and waiting on responses that never seem to come. Each passing day feels heavier, knowing that time is running short. I'm reaching out with hope that someone might understand the urgency and feel moved to offer their support. Although it's hard to ask, I truly believe in the kindness of strangers and the power of community during times of need.
