On July 20, our family lost an incredible woman whose life was dedicated to serving others. Our mom was a passionate advocate for individuals struggling with substance use and mental health challenges throughout Oklahoma. She devoted over three decades to helping people find hope, recovery, and a second chance. Her work extended far beyond individual lives—she played a role in helping shape legislation that improved access to care and support for countless Oklahomans.
While her impact on our community was immeasurable, to us she was simply Mom and Grandma. She leaves behind two brothers, two sisters, many nieces and nephews, two daughters, three beloved grandchildren, and another grandchild who will arrive this September and will grow up hearing stories of the amazing woman whose legacy of compassion and service will continue to inspire us.
